Welcome to Parker Bible Church!
Where people are excited about God’s Word.

PBC is a fellowship of believers that is focused on fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for the local church as revealed in God’s Word. We believe in the absolute authority, sufficiency, and infallibility of the Word of God.  It is our high view of Scripture that provides the foundation upon which every area of ministry is built.

At PBC, we embrace expository preaching, that is, teaching that exposes the meaning of the text of Scripture and applies it to life.  Our goal is to honor Christ by equipping people with the necessary tools for living godly lives, raising godly families, serving and loving the family of God, and sharing the Gospel of Christ with a lost world.

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” – 2 Peter 1:2-3

From Your Pastor’s Heart
What a wonderful time we had last Sunday enjoying a great meal and sharing praise and thanks to God for His marvelous provision! Of course, the official Thanksgiving Day is this Thursday, and many of us will be sharing that kind of gratitude with our family and friends. Let’s honor the Lord for His gracious care and supply.

And, of course, right on the heels of that will be our focus on celebrating the Christmas season. Our annual Hanging of the Green service will be held December 7.   We will also have special times of music and celebration throughout the month. December also brings a focus on world missions. In fact, we will be starting our Immanuel’s Child offering this morning.

On another note, our annual Church Family meeting will be held on Sunday, December 21. A year ago we were bringing on new staff and we got aggressive with a budget increase of nearly 20%. We have fallen slightly short of achieving that budget but we have done fairly well. Let’s see if we can make up the difference before the end of the year. Thank you for stepping up to meet that challenge. – Pastor KIrk.

Master’s Seminary Student Scholarships
We have an ongoing opportunity to help Robert and Sam, our seminary students, with their tuition. At any time you may add a designated gift to your offering for this purpose. Thank you for your generous support.

No Activities Tuesday & Wednesday
There are no activities on Tuesday or Wednesday evening this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy Thanksgiving week with your families.

PBC Ladies Worship in Action
Ladies, Worship in Action will be held on Tuesday, December 2. Serve with PBC ladies as we work on jobs around the building. We will also be preparing for the Hanging of the Green service on December 7. Make time to serve the needs of the body!

Immanuel’s Child Christmas Offering
We have many opportunities to give to those in need of the Gospel of Christ this season. Each Christmas we are a part of the Slavic Gospel Association’s ministry, Immanuel’s Child. You can play a part in bringing Russian children the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. See our tree in the foyer for more information. Thank you for designating your check.
